MEDIA for the ARTS offers digital licensing agreements in perpetuity and copyright clearance for many of our images. Licensing agreements are an excellent and low cost way to extend the life of your slide collection forever.

Here are some of the steps involved. Upon your request, we will send you a copy of our licensing contract for educational institutions. Once this agreement has been signed by authorized individuals, we will need additional information which will be included in a proposal by your institution. We need a complete list of all MEDIA for the ARTS images to be included in the contract. Not all of our images are available for licensing. The following information must also be included in your proposal: an outline of intended use, maximum image resolution, format, total number of images, how many campuses involved, total number of students. The license term for these images as outlined in your proposal will be in perpetuity.

LICENSE FEE STRUCTURE

Campus Fee + Student Fee x Number of Images = Standard Licensing Fee. Both student and campus fees vary with the size of the digital image. This assumes that you already have purchased the slides for which you want to make digital images.
